About the role
Anhelm is a small web studio. You would be a founding member of our team—which means wearing a lot of hats and helping shape how we reach customers. Your main focus is growth: turning interest into signed clients so everyone on the team can be paid well over time.
Day to day, this is customer- and lead-facing communication for people in America (US Eastern time). You will need to be available to respond to customers from around 10am–6pm EST (11pm–7am PHT in the Philippines)—monitoring phone, email, Meta, and SMS so leads and clients get a timely reply. This is an availability window for staying reachable, not a rigid clock-in schedule. The exact work may shift as we learn what works, but the through-line is talking with real people on behalf of Anhelm.
What you’ll do
- Answer calls, emails, and messages from existing clients (usually quiet, but you own it when it comes in).
- Follow up on leads from our Meta ads—message on Meta as us, email, SMS, or call. On ad days this might be 4–8 people to contact.
- Help brainstorm new ways to reach potential customers.
- Find businesses in local US markets that might need web services and reach out by phone or email (“cold calling” / “cold emailing”). Most people will say no—that’s normal—but it works sometimes, so we do it.
- Adapt as we figure out what helps Anhelm grow. The tasks may change; the goal stays the same.
English fluency matters
You will speak and write with Americans every day—on the phone, in email, in Meta messages, and in SMS. You need to pick up on tone, hesitation, and nuance, not just translate words. If English is not a strong language for you, this role will be frustrating for you and for our clients.
Skills & traits
- Fluent English—comfortable on live calls with Americans.
- Good social skills: warm, clear, and professional without sounding scripted.
- Available to monitor and respond to phone and messages around 10am–6pm EST (11pm–7am PHT), Monday–Friday.
- Experience using AI tools is a plus (writing drafts, research, organizing follow-ups).
- Motivation to stay long term and grow with a small company.
Pay & growth
Base pay is $300/month, plus $15 for each customer who signs up that month because of your outreach. On ad days you might see 4–8 new leads to work—when someone converts, that bonus goes on your paycheck.
